Taking Back Sunday are making a comeback in New Zealand in next March.
Another emo rock band from yester-year are returning to New Zealand: Taking Back Sunday are returning to play an Auckland show in March.
The Make Damn Sure hitmakers will bring a catalogue of hits from their discography plus some new tracks from their highly anticipated seventh album, Tidal Wave.
What's different about these guys is while their peers broke up and disappeared to make a come back, Taking Back Sunday has been quietly working away in the background, attempting to reinvent themselves along the way.
Frontman Adam Lazzara says their upcoming album is a result of the band working tirelessly to ensure they never felt boxed in.
"We really can't wait for you to hear it. Everyone is working hard to categorise where this music fits and all we can say is we wrote from the heart and did the best work we could," he says.
They'll play Auckland's Powerstation on March 15, 2017.
The pre-sale starts August 23 at 9am, and general sales start August 25 at 9am. See Powerstation.net.nz for more.
