Spy: Will Lorde be on the cover of Vogue Australia?

After attending the Met Ball Gala in New York and hanging out with besties Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding, Lorde has returned home from her whirlwind US trip.

But rumours are swirling that it's not just writing her new album that is keeping the songstress busy. Spy understands Vogue Australia shot the star for its cover in Auckland last Monday.

Despite Team Lorde being extremely private about details of the 18-year-old's life, Lorde's longtime boyfriend and photographer James Lowe posted a photo to his Instagram page on Sunday evening, captioning it: "Painting today, shooting tomorrow".

Spy hears Vogue flew in its team for the shoot, including stylists and photographers. Although nothing has been confirmed, it looks like things are only getting bigger for Lorde, who has already graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Billboard, V Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue and Elle, among others.
