Twenty-nine-year-old Michaiah Simmons has been a staple of New Zealand social pages for years and the once BFF of Nicola Robinson is beating her to the altar.
Simmons is engaged to celebrity chef Luca Villari, owner of Al Volo pizzeria in Mt Eden. Simmons runs a successful Deluxe Events company - Max Key's girlfriend Amelia Finlayson helps out as a promo girl.
Simmons and Villari hit Europe this week with family and friends, including Seeby Woodhouse and wife Geraldine Burnett, ahead of their wedding in Siena, Tuscany, tomorrow.
"We have hired a castle estate for a week," the soon-to-be wed socialite said.
A travelling wedding party of 41 has joined them in Europe. Over the past week they have spent time in Rome, Florence and Venice before arriving in Siena on Thursday.
After the wedding, with three bridesmaids and three groomsmen, the happy couple will travel to the Amalfi Coast.
