Prince Harry's Auckland visit next weekend includes a reception with emergency services and disaster relief organisations at Government House in Epsom.

But if he wants to live up to his party prince reputation later, Spy has a few suggestions. The Remuera mansion of socialites Simon and Paula Herbert, one of Auckland's finest homes, would be perfect - it has a billiard room and plenty of space for Max Key to set up his DJ tables.

The couple bought it for $9 million in 2011. After extensive renovations it's no doubt worth much more. Parties can be held in the pool and tennis court areas simultaneously.

From there, 46 & York down the road has the quaint English charm of many of Harry's favourite Knightsbridge bars. And the Parnell Rd bar is known to accommodate VIPs.

There are plenty of windows so the screaming girls following the prince would be able to Spy him from the street.

As the early morning hours approach, Auckland private members' bar Seafarers at Britomart would be the perfect next stop.

Harry will need a membership to one of their international partners, such as The Hospital Bar in London, or be with a member - and Seafarers insists there will be no bending of the rules.

"We would more than welcome Prince Harry as long as he came with a member," said a rep. Spy is sure Harry will not be short of offers to accompany him there.

And the after party? We can think of no better place than the Mission Bay house owned by uber-wealthy Steve Owen - father of blonde bombshell socialite Kim Owen. It has views over the harbour and big walls to keep away the pesky paparazzi, so the prince would have a blast.
