The temperature's not the only thing heating up this Spring - the love lives of some of our favourite celebrities are also sizzling.
TV One's Greg Boyed will be pleased his long-distance love affair is over - he's brought his new bride, gorgeous Swiss singer-songwriter Caroline Chevin, home to live.
Boyed, an accomplished muso, surprised his TVNZ colleagues by secretly marrying Chevin in Switzerland earlier this year.
The new Mrs Boyed is delighted to be here, telling Spy: "Me and my suitcase full of Toblerone have just hit New Zealand ground and I'm really excited to start my new life Downunder.
"I want to discover more of this beautiful country, learn about Kiwi culture and hopefully get inspired to make more music." We hope the pair enjoy a long, hot summer.
There's plenty of other talk around town about actors, politicians and sports stars hooking up, though many of them weren't keen to share their romantic good fortune with Spy.
Gorgeous girl about town Dominique Wisniewski is said to have changed codes.
After recently breaking up with former All Black Anthony Boric she has been spotted with Warriors sweetheart Shaun Johnson, 24. But when we asked about her penchant for athletes, the 23-year-old pulled out the classic line: "We are just friends, he is a lovely guy."
One rumoured romance we're super excited about involves two of New Zealand's most beautiful people - Hollywood star Karl Urban and former Shorty St actress Shavaughn Ruakere, both newly single. They were spotted out together recently, but Ruakere wouldn't answer questions about their friendship.
There's been no shortage of interest in Urban, 42, since he split with makeup artist wife Natalie Wihongi earlier this year - Herne Bay mums are said to find the school run far more enjoyable when the movie star drops his kids off. Spy hears Urban now bases himself at the Sofitel Hotel, near his formal marital home.
Whispers also persist that Ruakere's ex, Clarke Gayford, is seeing Labour MP Jacinda Ardern, with reports the pair recently left an Auckland restaurant holding hands.
Pre-election, Ardern told us there was no story and they're still playing coy now. We note that's not actually a denial.
No such fudging from South Pacific Pictures, though, on a rumoured romance between Shorty St stars and onscreen lovers Frankie Adams and Spencer Falls. Their people catagorically declared: "Both actors are currently seeing other people and think the rumours of their supposed fling are hilarious."
