Las Vegas opened its doors last weekend and promises to be full of mystery and surprise. The new K Rd nightclub experience by Lucien Law of Ostro and Seafarers fame attracted plenty of A-Listers to its week of opening nights.
As well as the performance entertainment, which included a nakeddancing Zombie, Spy noted the best collection of Louboutins and designer handbags ever seen in one bar. It's a welcome newcomer to the late-night scene, and even more appropriately housed within the historical Las Vegas Strip Club, epitomising the resurgence of K Rd cool.

We agreed not to name names and just enjoy the show last Friday night, that is until the famous ghosts of the club played havoc with the loos and everyone had to leave the building.
By the Saturday night, management had the well-heeled and the show back on the Punch and Judy-styled stage.
Las Vegas is a new take on burlesque, nicely replacing the iconic Las Vegas Strip Club, a place that proudly exists to bring a different kind of after-hours hedonism to New Zealand.

From Tuesday to Saturday night expect everything from the freakish to the sublime: dancers, performers, great musicians and DJs will entertain an intimate throng until the early hours, including Scott Towers from Fat Freddy's Drop and Julien Dyne's Circles Trio. Miss Anthropy sexual provocations and Captain Ruin's strange varieties will also play out on the stage.
The cirque-style contortions of the Dust Palace are also on offer as a late-night treat.
