Spy: LA-based Fleur Saville on a roll

On Wednesday, Spy reported LA-based Fleur Saville, 31, was helping produce a song, Teen Ball Player Thing, to raise funds for Cure Kids, along with other high-profile Kiwis.

Saville also recently spent time in the Californian desert filming a music video for another song with fellow Kiwis the Sami sisters and Keisha Castle-Hughes.

But acting remains her true love. She has produced and starred in her first feature film, Blood Punch, which has had a stellar review in the Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is about a trio of meth dealers who get caught up in a supernatural nightmare.

"This wickedly clever thriller is like your brain is on drugs," Saville told Spy.

"It has an almost all New Zealand cast. It features Milo Cawthorne, Olivia Tennet and Ari Boyland."

Saville said she was "thrilled" by positive feedback for the production.
