Spy: Is Richie McCaw's girlfriend planning a wedding?

Will Richie McCaw soon be off the market?

Talk of wedding bells started after the sexy All Black captain and his gorgeous hockey star girlfriend Gemma Flynn moved in together late last year.

Now there's a fresh clue after the pair enjoyed last Sunday's Eagles gig from a corporate box at Mt Smart Stadium.

When Spy's scout overheard several women discussing relationships during a bathroom break, she was asked for her secret to a long and happy marriage.

Unbeknown to our spy, the woman asking was Flynn - who then requested our unsuspecting agony aunt relay the answer to her boyfriend.

Imagine her surprise when she was introduced to McCaw!

She did manage to get a selfie with the rugby star before scuttling back to her own corporate box, agog at the random encounter - and convinced marriage is on the cards for the sporting high-fliers.

It's certainly the first relationship McCaw has been so public about, posing proudly with Flynn at several recent red-carpet events.

And Flynn has also posted pictures of the pair on her Instagram account, including one of them relaxing in Europe and America after last year's season-ending tour by the men in black.

She also proudly posted a photo of a personalised $1000 Working Style jacket which she gave McCaw after his 100th match as test captain against Wales last November.

The jacket is embroidered: "100th test as captain. Love Gemma."
