The search is on for New Zealand's hunkiest bachelor. Spy has learned Bachelor NZ producer Eyeworks has cast its net for a second season of TV3's hit programme.
Last year, Spy met a producer and recommended a few blokes around town and those same guys have been alerted that anew hunt is on.
This time around we hope the net is cast further than modelling agencies - perhaps even a former sports star who is single might say yes.
And it's not just Spy who is happy to offer suggestions to help with the search for the nation's most eligible hunk.
Two of the Bachelorettes who missed out on Arthur Green's affection during series one have provided some advice. Second runner-up Alysha Brown called on producers to look for a Maori hunk.
"I would like to see us embrace our culture and bring in a man of Maori descent," she said. "We have a unique breed of man so why not show that off?"
In character traits, Brown said the leading man should also be "able to laugh at himself and have a certain amount of wit and confidence. I like a dominant male who will give me a run for my money, so that would be a criteria for me, but be honest and loyal.
"[There's] nothing more attractive than a man who is loyal to his girl and never makes her feel insecure."
And it seems runner-up Bachelorette, Danielle Robinson still has a soft spot for Green.

"I think it will be extremely hard to find someone as awesome as Art, but maybe a switch from traditional bachelors is what we need," she said. "A farm boy, perhaps? Traits I would like to see are adventurous, someone who can communicate and understand their own emotions. It's not an easy concept to be a part of, so maturity and empathy will make a big difference, too. I'd love to see a guy with a bit of spunk and cheekiness to him."
