Congratulations to ex Shortland Street star Harry McNaughton and his boyfriend, Koz Dickinson. The pair had an engagement party thrown for them at what McNaughton describes as the unofficial Kiwi mansion on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, owned by friends of the pair. Dickinson is an international relations expertand formerly a diplomat.
LA-based McNaughton told Spy: "Our engagement party was organised by Fleur Saville, of course. I cooked a three-course meal for 25 people."
Guests included expat actress Keisha Castle-Hughes and producer-director Dean Cornish. Halfway through the evening, Saville arranged for everyone to get changed into Neverland outfits. The betrothed couple wore matching Peter Pan outfits and Castle-Hughes shimmied into an octopus suit. Plenty of fun was had poolside, as Captain Hook tried to capture mermaids and the pool's diving board was used for plank-walking. The next night McNaughton scored a golden ticket to the Emmys with his agent, Gerry Pass.
And the antics weren't over - they had a great time trying to find out unexpected backstage info, such as that the entire Emmys stage is swept during every break.
McNaughton also had fun stalking Heidi Klum at an after-party in her canary Versace outfit. The next day the two lovebirds hopped on a plane to Aitutaki to celebrate their engagement, as you do.
