Last Tuesday, players from each of the NRL clubs converged on the Dick Smith store in George St, Sydney, to officially launch the Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines' kits - and each player took their turn modelling.
Our spies told us St George Illawarra Dragons' forward Jack de Belin tookthe prize for the player most likely to work as a model after his football career.
Other footy catwalk kings included Melbourne Storm's Billy Slater, the Bulldogs' Brett Morris, Parramatta Eels' Anthony Watmough, Wests Tigers' Chris Lawrence, the Rabbitohs' John Sutton and Gold Coast Titans' star Greg Bird.
All but Lawrence said Bird was the hottest player, including Bird himself.
Spy can tell you Bird definitely had the biggest biceps and quads of the 16 players.
We can also reveal that for the first time in the Nines' history, event promoter Duco is looking forward to holding an official after-party, but the location is to be revealed.
Spy will have roaming photographers at the Nines - to be hosted again at Eden Park - looking for the best costumes. Fans will also be encouraged to load their photos to their Facebook pages throughout the tournament.
One winner will be drawn each day and displayed on the big screen, and cash prizes will be up for grabs. Watch this space.
