Spy: Baby steps for World Cup-bound ABs

Jerome Kaino will have a special reason to smile over summer regardless of the All Blacks' fortunes at the World Cup.

Jerome's gorgeous wife, Diana, is set to give birth to the couple's third child in December.

The pending birth means Diana won't be making the trip to the UK with other All Black Wags as their beloved partners chase back-to-back tournament triumphs.

Jerome is definitely one of the gentlemen of the squad. The couple have two other children; 6-year-old Milan and 4-year-old Kobe.

Fellow loose forward Liam Messam will be boarding the All Blacks' UK-bound plane on cloud nine after the recent arrival of his new son, Beaudy Kauasi Messam.

Angela Messam gave birth to the wee tot on August 17. The couple also have a 4-year-old boy, Jai.

Liam posted on social media: "Dear Lord, your gifts are many. I'm grateful for everyone. One of the greatest gifts you've given is the gift of another son. Thank you for his life dear lord. Watch over him each day. May he be safe and free from harm, as he goes about each day. Bless him through life's trials. Help him choose right from wrong. An example be, For all to see, Standing tall and proud. #teammessam."

On the Wag front, Victor Vito's wife, Amber, and Israel Dagg's wife, Daisy, launch their book on Wednesday, The Rugby Pantry: Healthy Measures & Guilty Pleasures. Both rugby-playing husbands feature on the cover with their wives.
