Sony Pictures accidentally uploaded the entire Khali the Killer film to YouTube, instead of the trailer.

Sony Pictures accidentally uploaded an entire film to YouTube, instead of the trailer on Tuesday.

A clip labelled "Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer" made its way onto the video sharing site, but when unsuspecting fans clicked on it, they were able to watch the entire movie.

The 89 minute upload of the crime drama, filmed back in 2016, featured the full credits and clocked up an impressive 11,000 views, the Daily Mail reports.

The trailer has not reappeared online and the only clue to its once existence is a bizarre, broken link.

The grisly flick is slated to open in a few US theatres in August, and has already been released on DVD and Blue-ray in the Netherlands.

It was also released in Germany back in November 2017.

The drama tells the tale of East L.A hitman Khali who, after deciding to retire, decides to take one final job to pay for his dying grandmother's care.

But the previously cold-hearted killer starts to develop empathy for the targets of his hit, and he is forced into making the hardest decision of his life.

It stars Richard Cabral, Ryan Dorsey, Clayton Cardenas and Corina Calderon. It was written and directed by Jon Matthews.

It currently holds a poor rating on media review site IMDB, scoring a 3.8/10.
