Melanie Lynskey as Shauna in Yellowjackets, streaming on Neon.
A new deal between Sky and Paramount means new seasons and series previously unavailable to Kiwis will now have an exclusive home on streaming service Neon and Sky TV.
The deal also means people who started some shows on Netflix, which has co-streaming deals for certain series, will haveto finish them on Neon / Sky to get the full series range.
From the drama of Yellowstone’s Duttonverse to kind serial killers and cannibals, here’s a look at five shows in the new deal that are worth watching and why.
Seasons 1–3 co‑streaming with Netflix; seasons 4–5 exclusive to Sky / Neon.
A big drawcard for Western fans, this cowboy epic created a stir when it first hit screens in 2018. Following Montana’s fictional Dutton family and their violent struggle to retain their ranch land, the Kevin Costner-helmed series is packed to the brim with gunfights, family drama, and country music galore. The final seasons are now exclusively available on Sky / Neon, so if you’ve seen the first few on Netflix, best look at getting yourself a subscription. The first three seasons have always been available on Neon / Sky.
Marshals, The Madison, The Dutton Ranch
New series; exclusive to Sky / Neon.
All Yellowstone spinoffs, these newly announced series in the so-called “Duttonverse” (stemming from Yellowstone’s Dutton family) will bring more boot-scooting country thriller action exclusively to Neon and Sky direct from the US, when they eventually get released. While Marshals (following Yellowstone character Kayce Dutton) is touted for release later this year, The Madison (starring Michelle Pfieffer and Kurt Russell) and The Dutton Ranch (featuring Yellowstone character Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler) are not yet slated for release. Sky, however, has assured the Herald that they will have the exclusive screening rights, meaning those with Sky and Neon subscriptions will know where to look when they do eventually hit screens.
The Agency: Central Intelligence (seasons 1 and 2)
Season 1 previously only available in the USA; season 2 exclusive to Sky / Neon.
Michael Fassbender and Richard Gere star in this high-stakes espionage thriller - a remake of French series The Bureau - that only overseas audiences had the pleasure of viewing when it was released in 2024. Now, the tale of frail alliances and deceit will hit Sky and Neon screens exclusively, with both the first season and the upcoming season two having a Kiwi home. Expect plenty of tense moments, some shocking twists and turns, and silver fox Gere really putting on a show.

Yellowjackets (seasons 1-4)
Season 1 on Netflix and Neon; the rest - including the upcoming season 4 - exclusive to Sky / Neon.
Often touted as a twisted version of Lord of the Flies and starring our own Melanie Lynskey, Yellowjackets has been critically acclaimed for its genre-bending style and incredible acting from its predominantly female cast. Both Netflix and Neon host season 1, but the rest of the seasons - and the highly anticipated fourth and final season - will only be available to watch on Sky / Neon. Be prepared, though, for those who are blood and gore averse, this one might not be for you.
Michael C. Hall in a scene from Dexter: New Blood.
Dexter: New Blood and Resurrection (seasons 1 and 2)
New Blood returns to Sky/Neon; Resurrection exclusive to Sky/Neon
It was there, and then it was gone. Kiwi fans of our favourite friendly serial killer Dexter Morgan were excited to see him return in New Blood (after an eight-year hiatus and disappointing ending), only for the series to suddenly disappear from Neon after its original run. Now, with the new deal, it’s back for good on Neon and Sky, along with the upcoming second season of follow-up series Dexter: Resurrection. While New Blood played a role in setting up Dexter’s (Michael C. Hall) new life on the run, a critically acclaimed Resurrection further saw his past creep back up on him, with some familiar faces threatening his way of life.

Besides these new and exclusive series and seasons, there’s also a slew of returning favourites included in Sky’s Paramount deal.
Continuing police procedurals FBI, FBI: CIA, and Boston Blue will be sticking around, as will all titles and all new seasons in the Nickelodeon / Nick Jr Library.
