Sisqo re-releases 1999 hit Thong Song for 2017

Sisqo has re-released his 1999 hit Thong Song with a 2017 twist.

Why? Well, apparently he needed some new rims for the Bugatti.

So he teamed up with Norwegian trio JCY to add some extremely 2017 production the track, and Sisqo returns with the same vocals we all know and love.

He told Buzzfeed: "I've been asked so many times over the years to make a new version of 'Thong Song,' and I have declined every time until I heard the new version that JCY did.

"I thought it was dope and figured maybe it was time to put some new rims on the Bugatti."

The song, which is literally about how much he loves g-strings (aka thongs) on women, hasn't changed - minus the production and some remixing of the vocals. So it should come as no surprise the video concept hasn't changed all that much either.

There are still plenty of beautiful women in g-strings dancing for Sisqo, it's just a shame that epic beach dance sequence - complete with levitating and an impressive balancing act - is missing.
