Mick Jagger was among the thousands of fans cheering on England as they took on Croatia.
The Rolling Stones singer was seen enjoying the match at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, where Kieran Trippier took the Three Lions into an early lead with a free kick.
The frontman was spotted smilingalongside his 19-year-old son, Lucas, whose mother is Brazilian model Luciana Morad.
At other times he appeared apprehensive after an afternoon of nerves for England fans across the country.
Other celebrities are closely following tonight's match, with singer Cheryl revealing she missed the start, tweeting: "I got in 10 minutes late and already missed a goal!? come on England!!!"
Back in England, singer Louis Tomlinson was spotted cheering on the team while watching in Hyde Park, London.
Piers Morgan posted a string of messages on Twitter as the game got under way. He said: "England are all over them. We're a better team. Stronger, faster, better organised. We can do this. We will do this."
After the first goal, Morgan wrote: "BOOOOOM!!!!!!!! 1-0 ENGLAND. What a start - Trippier you beauty!"
