She's coming on tour with one of the biggest bands in the world, but before that Lianne La Havas is playing on her own.
The British singer-songwriter who has been praised by critics for her soulful vocals, dreamy tracks and heartfelt lyrics was recently announced to join Coldplay as aspecial guest on their A Head Full of Dreams tour.
La Havas will open for the band at their only New Zealand show at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on December 3, but she's also just announced an exclusive solo show at Auckland's Tuning Fork the day before.
She's already toured with Coldplay and Bon Iver, contributed to Prince's 2014 album Art Official Age and worked with other artists like Alt-J and Tourist. But she's a touring artist in her own right too, selling out headline shows and playing major festivals, including Glastonbury.
Her latest album
Blood
is out now, and she'll be at the Tuning Fork on Friday, December 2.
