We've scoured the world's red carpets to bring you the best frocks and shocks from Hollywood and beyond. Here are this week's must-see looks.

'Tis the season to be jolly... And in Hollywood, it would seem jolly equates with sartorially bonkers.

Reds, whites and sparkling silvers have dominated the world's red carpets recently, with some of the most bizarre - and downright fugly - fashion offerings we've seen all year.

Iggy Azalea

I can only assume Ms Azalea got tanked on egg nog, mugged Santa and decided to rock his oversized red suit - sans fur trim - to the Jingle Ball. That's the only logical explanation here, right?

Keeping up the festive fashion - Tay Tay gets her tartan on. Compared to Iggy, this is actually quite tasteful - and was worn as a legitimate stage costume. On the red carpet, Taylor kept it fun and flirty in this little number...

Charli XCX

Which is possibly what Charli XCX was going for but instead ended up looking cheap and trashy. This is destroying my festive cheer. Bahumbug.

Kim Kardashian

Speaking of cheap and trashy, Kimmy K pulled out a double whammy this week. In every sense.

Salma Hayek

There's a lovely touch of Yuletide to this without being too obvious. Not so lovely is the fit - which is too tight across the bust and too long in the skirt. But hey, when you're up against this lot, it ain't the worst we've seen.

Pharrell

Clearly, Pharrell stopped by Iggy's egg nog party and joined her crime spree, stealing this hot pink number from a middle-aged Hausfrau called Helga. Again, only logical explanation.

Rihanna

Under normal circumstances, this would not be good. And it's still not. But truly, it's better than 99% of outfits we've seen this week.
