Heaven knows, there's no shortage of hubristic stars who've managed to comprehensively humiliate themselves with ham-fisted attempts at rapping.
But not so with Shia who, over the course of the challenge, proved himself to be pretty damned good.
Consequnces of Sound writer Dominick Suzanne-Mayer was among those doffing their cap to the actor's rapping skills, saying: "Like a great many freestyles, LaBeouf gets corny at points, but the general assurance and skill with which he delivers his verses suggest that yeah, most likely, he's done this before."
Commenting on his guest's performance, host Sway said: "This is what the show is about. There's no divisiveness in this show. There's no discrimination in this show. You either got bars, or you don't."
