Shaun Johnson's new relationship revealed

Warriors star Shaun Johnson has finally admitted what we've all suspected for some time - he and Silver Fern Kayla Cullen are an item.

The sporting couple have long raised eyebrows with their various social media posts about each other, but have always previously refused to comment on the nature of their relationship.

Even when snapped cuddling at a Six60 concert last month, Cullen would only tell media "We're great friends and enjoy spending time together like all friends do. I've got nothing more to say."

But Johnson had something to say about Cullen this morning during a radio interview.

When asked by Mai FM's Nickson, Nate and Lily who he was sharing a bed with these days, Johnson came clean.

"Me and Kayla are together," he said. "We're just having some fun and seeing how it goes."

And the cute couple certainly have been having fun this summer.

They featured in a celebrity doubles match against Bachelor NZ duo Art Green and Matilda Rice at last month's ASB Classic.

And they've combined weights training with a little fun in the surf, if this pic posted to Cullen's Instagram account is anything to go by.

And no doubt Cullen will be in the stands at Eden Park this weekend, as her beau takes to the field for the Warriors at the NRL Nines.
