Search ends in Dunedin for two missing boys, 7 and 8

The two boys were last seen leaving their school in the Kaikorai Valley.

A pair of Dunedin school boys have been located after a desperate search was sparked this afternoon this afternoon.

An appeal to find the two boys, aged 7 and 8, was posted by Wakari School on Facebook after concerns were raised about their whereabouts.

They were last seen leaving their school in the Kaikorai Valley.

Police had said the families hoped to find the school students as soon as possible.

Members of the public were urged to contact police immediately at 111 and use the reference number P065953480 if they can provide any information.
