Scherzinger felt like performing monkey for X Factor bosses

Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger was left shaken by her early meetings with The X Factor bosses in America - because they made her feel like a performing monkey.

The Don't Cha singer initially tried out as the host of the upcoming talent show and she has since been upgraded to one of the judges.

She recalls her first meeting with reality TV mogul Mike Darnell was "horrible and awkward," telling The Hollywood Reporter, "They were like, 'Monkey, monkey, dance! Let's go!"'
