Recalling one night in, when they were watching hit US entrepreneurial show Shark Tank, she said, "My husband had this idea for an app and was like, 'We should pitch this to Shark Tank!'"
However, Scarlett wasn't such a fan of his business idea: "He was like, 'What? You mean it wouldn't pass the Sharks?' I was like, 'We're not gonna get into a fight over this!'"
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old beauty has also opened up about the couple's jetsetting lifestyle, as they split their time between her native New York City and her beau's home in Paris, France, a move she insists was the best decision she has ever made.
"We're both street rats," she explained of their similar upbringings.
"Being a New Yorker is a part of your personality, and he grew up in the heart of Paris. Just surviving the urban jungle is character building. It stays with you forever."
And Scarlett is keen to continue raising their daughter, Rose, in the centre of a big, bustling city, because she doesn't think moving to the suburbs is a life she can adjust to.
"It seems wonderful to be raised in a natural setting, but I wouldn't know how to do it," she confessed.
"A big city would always draw me back."
Scarlett's love of the city life may have been another issue of contention in her marriage with Ryan as he and his second wife, actor Blake Lively, now call the leafy suburb of Bedford, New York home.
