Sam Smith found unusual ways to unveil his wax model at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco.
The UK pop star celebrated by licking his wax figure's face, kissing it, then posing for a selfie. He also posed with fans in front of it.

Chris Connors, General Manager of MadameTussauds, said: "Madame Tussauds is honoured to celebrate Sam Smith's musical accomplishments here in San Francisco and to welcome him into our effervescent Music Room. We can't wait to offer his fans a chance to get up close to one of the best-loved singers of his generation."

Sam, 23, had to sit for multiple hours so his replica could be made and underwent a complete 3D scan to ensure the proportions of his model are correct.
He also had to provide moulds of his hands, have his exact shoe size measured and sit patiently as the team matched his eye and hair colour.
The Omen singer's doppelganger will join a galaxy of star models, including Adele and Sir Elton John, that are also on display in the Music Room.
Visitors to Madame Tussauds San Francisco will be able to view Sam's model from today.
