He's halfway across the world shooting The Nice Guys in Los Angeles, but Russell Crowe isn't one to forget about his homeland.
The famed 50-year-old helped present the award for Best Supporting Actress in Film at Sydney's AACTA Awards on Thursday, appearing on a live feed at LA's midnight to introduce the contestants.
But Rusty wasn't without his Nice Guys co-star Ryan Gosling, who appeared beside the Gladiator star and boasted that he was "an honorary Australian."
After congratulating his Water Diviner co-star Yilmaz Erdogan for his Best Supporting Actor win, Russell was interrupted by 34-year-old Ryan, who stumbled into the shot.

The Kiwi-Australian actor explained that he was appearing on the AACTA Award Ceremony, to which Ryan exclaimed "Hey you won? Congratulations!"
"Oh, you lost?," the Drive actor continued, failing to read Russell's blank expression. "Sorry about that. You were robbed... you win just by being nominated, you'll get 'em next time!"
The NRL enthusiast explained that he was simply presenting an award, and introduced his co-star to the AACTA audience:
"Ladies and gentleman, you might not recognise him with his clothes on, Ryan Gosling," he said before laughing, "it's cheap but it worked."
Ryan proudly claimed that he was "an honorary Australian" because "I lived in New Zealand for like two years," hilariously adding a Kiwi expression, exclaiming "I'm sweet as, bro!"
The Notebook hearthrob said "they can just cut that part out" after Russell explained that Australia and New Zealand are actually different countries.
Russell would return to the screen to help accept the Best Film Award for The Water Diviner - a flick he directed and which shared the honour with The Babadook.

It wasn't all good news though as he would end up losing out the Best Actor Award to Charlie's Country's David Gulpili.
The pair of Ryan and Russell have been working on The Nice Guys since October, with filming beginning in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to LA.
The crime mystery flick follows a private eye whose investigation into the suicide of an adult film star unearths a conspiracy, and will hit cinemas in June of next year.
