Iconic rockers Dragon will be touring New Zealand in April, this time with another former local star as their lead singer.
The band behind hits such as April Sun in Cuba, Are You Old Enough,Rain and Still In Love will play five venues in New Zealand startingApril 20.
Singing lead vocals for them will be Mark Williams, best known for hits such as It Doesn't Matter Anymore, Yesterday Was Just The Beginning of My Life and Show No Mercy.
Dragon's best-known singer, Marc Hunter, died in 1998. Hunter's brother Todd will once again tour with the band this year.
Dragon will play at Sky City in Auckland on April 20 and 21, Founders Theatre in Hamilton on April 22, Bay Court in Tauranga on April 23, James Hay in Christchurch on April 25 and the Opera House in Wellington on April 26.
Dragon's lead act in Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch will be another New Zealand rock legend, Kevin Borich.
The former guitarist for the 1960s band La De Das, best-known for their single How Is The Air Up There, later had a successful career in Australia with the Kevin Borich Express and is highly regarded as a rock guitarist.
