Rihanna and Chris Brown may play coy when it comes to confirming their relationship but they will definitely be together when they touch down in Auckland next month.
The long-time friends and much-speculated lovers are set to tour Downunder, playing a double-bill at Auckland's Vector Arena on Monday,
October 27 and Wellington's TSB Arena on Wednesday, October 29.
The tour, which heads to Australia after the New Zealand shows, will be the first time either artist has performed here and marks their first-ever joint concert.
Brown says he is excited about heading back to New Zealand - he visited on a promotional tour two years ago.
"I love it out there," he told TimeOut. "I can't wait to see the fans out there because I've been away for a little while."
Brown remained tight-lipped on what people could expect from the show, but said he and Rihanna would play separate sets.
"We're not gonna interfere with each other's sets, we're just gonna have our own set," he said.
"I think it's whack if you tell people what you're going to do on set because then nobody has the interest in coming to see it. It's all about not knowing what to expect.
"I don't want to give away my show ... Just expect Chris is gonna be there."
Earlier this year, the pair were reported to be working on a song together but Brown was vague on the possibility of a duet.
"There's something in the works, hopefully. It's gonna be dope."
Brown shot to fame three years ago, when he was just 16, with the hit Run It. His second album Exclusive has spurned several top 10 hits, including With You, Kiss Kiss and Forever.
Rihanna - born Robyn Rihanna Fenty - is one of this decade's most successful female recording artists, tied with Mariah Carey and Beyonce for most number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
In New Zealand, the 20-year-old has topped the charts with various singles, including Umbrella, Take A Bow and the current number one, Disturbia.
Tickets go on sale Monday, September 15 through all Ticketmaster (Auckland) and Ticketek (Wellington) agencies.
