Rebel Wilson finds being a working mum “really, really tricky”.

The 45-year-old actor, who has Royce, 3, with pregnant wife Ramona Agruma, advised her Pitch Perfect 2 co-star Hailee Steinfeld to enlist the services of a nanny in the early days after she and husband Josh Allen welcome their first child next year.

Asked if she had advice for Steinfeld after she recently announced her pregnancy, Rebel told People magazine: “Hailee’s so talented and you know, watching that romance... it’s incredible for them.

“It is hard because she’s got an amazing career as an actress, so I’m sure she’ll be a working mom as well. And it is really, really tricky.

“But we did have a great baby nanny at first, so when Ro was first born, because when you’re a new parent, you don’t even know anything about feeding and sleep schedules and anything. So to bring in a professional just at the start is a really good thing.”

Steinfeld announced she and her Buffalo Bills quarterback husband, both 29, are set to welcome their first baby together in her Substack newsletter on Friday (December 12, 2025), which listed her 29 favourite moments from the past year to mark her 29th birthday.

At the end of the rundown, the Hawkeye star included a video in which she revealed the joyous news.

Steinfeld posed in the snow and displayed her bump as Allen kissed her tummy. The smitten couple then smiled and posed together as she donned a fleece that had “mother” emblazoned across it.

At the end of the video, the camera panned out to reveal the Sinners star and Allen standing on either side of a small snowman.

After it was announced in her newsletter, the couple made a joint Instagram post with the same clip, which they captioned with a single red-heart emoji.

NFL legend Allen commented on the upload with: “I love you.”

Meanwhile, just a few days earlier, Wilson’s wife revealed they were also expecting another baby.

Sharing an Instagram reel, Agruma shared a photo of herself and the Bridesmaids star sitting in a teacup ride at Disneyland with the words, “From this” and a heart emoji, and then added photos of Royce as a baby, her pregnancy test and her own growing bump and then wrote: “To...Baby number 2 is on her way [three heart emojis]”.

She said: “The happiest news in our family. It will be 4 of us soon! Baby number 2 is on her way [four heart emojis] I love you @rebelwilson.”
