British reality star Gemma Collins has suffered an embarrassing gaffe during a UK award show, falling through a hole in the stage seconds after she announced one of the night's winners.
The Only Way Is Essex and Celebrity Big Brother star, 36, announced the winner of Best TV Show atthe Radio 1 Teen Awards - then disappeared through a hole in the stage.
The impact was audible to viewers as Collins took a heavy fall - but she managed to recover quickly, laughing off the tumble seconds later as the cast members from Love Island appeared on stage to accept their award.
The reality TV starlet took the gaffe in good humour, describing it as the "best and worst moment" of her life and appearing cheery in interviews after the incident:

She even offered fans another bird's eye view of how the fall played out, revealing that the stage design for the award show was an accident waiting to happen. As Collins read out the winner, a hole opened up in the stage to lift the award winners into view - and an unaware Collins turned and walked straight into it:
