Real Estate coming to Laneway Festival

New Jersey band Real Estate have been added to the Laneway Festival line-up.

The five-piece is coming to the summer festival on Auckland's waterfront after winning widespread acclaim for the melodic, reverb-heavy songs of their 2011 album Days.

They were last in New Zealand to play target="_blank">sold-out shows at Wellington's San Francisco Bath House and Auckland's Kings Arms Tavern in March.

Real Estate are the third of six acts being added to the Laneway Festival line up in special weekly announcements.

A new act is being revealed at 9am every Monday morning, with two acts set to be announced on December 2.

The festival at Wynyard Quarter will be headlined by English songstress Bat for Lashes.

Other confirmed acts include Yeasayer, Bailterspace, Of Monsters And Men, Alt-J, Jessie Ware, The Phoenix Foundation, Street Chant, Beach Pigs and Lawrence Arabia.
