Rachel Hunter has paid tribute to her grandmother, who has passed away at the age of 91.
The Kiwi model took to Facebook to share her grief and her memories, praising her grandmother Margaret's "strength and love for us all".
"RIP Grandma. the memories that have gone thur my mindover the last 48 hrs have been filled so much nostalgia & tears ... Our walks , gardening , nature . I would always love to come to you when mum was doing her errands ... there was always a sense of magic but always practical," she wrote.
"At 91 you may have left us but you continue to live within us. Your 4 incredible daughters , grandchildren and great grandchildren . Godspeed Angel. I celebrate your incredible life and will we miss you."
In an interview with New Idea last year, Hunter said Margaret had been unwell and she had used a promotional trip back home to catch up with her.
"It was a little touch and go for a while, and so I was anxious to get down here to see her," she said.
Hunter told the magazine she wanted to age "gracefully" - just like her grandmother.
"I want to be able to age and age gracefully," she said. "A lot of it has to do with what you put in your body as well as genetics. And I thank my mum and dad - and my grandma."
