A WPX interview with her featured on the LA Times website this week, and Better TV host JD Roberto also heaped praise on her.
"There's a lot going on," she told the host about her leap from behind the scenes work on films to producing and starring in her latest movie.
Bell has been described as director Quentin Tarantino's "go-to girl".
"He [Tarantino] turned up at my house with the script with my name on the cover and I actually thought he was joking at first, I took a photo of the cover to show my parents."
Acclaim for both Raze and Bell has also come from movie review websites, and from interviews with CBS and popular website Buzzfeed.
Bell attended Auckland Girls' Grammar School and Selwyn College, before pursuing her stunt woman career in Hollywood, and has won several awards for her stunts.
