Rapper B.o.B. raising money to check if Earth is flat

United States rapper B.o.B. has launched a crowdfunding campaign to buy satellites that he plans to launch into space to check the Earth is flat.

The musician is a self-proclaimed flat-earther and believes he can raise the necessary funds to send satellites into space to prove he's right.

(He's not.)

Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, known as B.o.B., has launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking $1 million to send satellites to space.

At the time of writing this article, the campaign had raised $2201.

"I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple, satellites as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve," he says in a video on the page.

"I'm looking for the curve."

Flat-earthers believe that, if the Earth really is round, the curvature of the Earth should be more visible to the naked eye.

(Honestly, the Earth is round.)

B.o.B.'s belief that the Earth is flat is nothing new, he has been posting about it on social media for some time now.

Not everyone who's contributed to B.o.B.'s fundraising shares his views and some have thrown some money into the campaign to help him "prove himself wrong".

B.o.B. is not the only famous flat-earther speaking out about this belief. Other flat-earthers include Tila Tequila (who also believes she's an immortal clone of herself).
