"Putting a casting call out for, or including women in your script with the description of 'whores,' is not okay. Nor is asking actresses to submit their photos and information for consideration with the subject line 'Whore," the post read.
"Aside from the fact that there are better words to use if one is looking to cast women who work in the sex industry, this description is actually a typical example of Hollywood sexism, particularly as it pertains to roles for women."
The blog suggested the phrases "prostitutes, saloon girls, or brothel workers" would have been less problematic because 'whores' "comes with a lot of baggage".
Few details are known about the project, but the blog suggested Tarantino would be producing the film and a female director was involved.
The ad has since been removed. Tarantino's last film was the bloody Western The Hateful Eight.
