Brendan Cole has had "the best Christmas present" this year - the birth of his first child.
Cole and his wife Zoe Hobbs, 31, welcomed their daughter Aurelia on Christmas Day. Cole announced the news to his Twitter followers on Friday, posting: "My wonderful wife & I had the bestChristmas present ever. Our baby daughter arrived on Christmas Day. Zoe & Baby doing great! Very precious."
Good wishes have poured in from around the world, including from former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
Hobbs posted "Thanks for all your wonderful messages. We're so thrilled and overwhelmed and so in love with our beautiful baby girl. Can't stop staring!" Cole later joked that there is already "pink everywhere".
The 36-year-old former Dancing with the Stars judge and Strictly Come Dancing competitor in the UK has had a string of romances in the past, including a relationship with model Nicky Watson. Often described as the bad boy of ballroom, he married model Hobbs in July 2010.
