Billy Joel will give a concert in Auckland this December as part of his six-date Australasian tour.
Joel, one of the world's most accomplished musicians, last played in New Zealand 10 years ago.
He will give a concert at Auckland's Vector Arena on December 14, following shows inPerth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
It is 30 years since Joel's landmark album The Stranger was released and the end-of-year tour will be preceded by the release of a 30th anniversary edition of the album.
The Stranger 30th Anniversary Legacy will be released through Sony BMG on July 21.
Tickets for all the shows go on sale on Friday, July 25, with pre-sales from Tuesday, July 22.
