Hollywood's newest power couple have been hiding in plain sight.
While it was a series of fresh red carpet snaps that led to fan-obsession over 55-year-old Keanu Reeves' seemingly new relationship with 46-year-old artist Alexandra Grant last week, unearthed photos confirm the smitten-looking pair have been linked for years.
Whetherromantically or just as friends and business collaborators, the couple have been photographed side-by-side – sometimes linking arms or holding hands – since 2016.
And earlier this year, they stepped out looking pretty close at another LA event.

With the notoriously private Matrix star having successfully dodged romance whispers for years, it seems as though we just haven't been looking hard enough.
The sight of Grant – a proudly silver-haired visual artist from LA – seemed to catch fans by surprise given the reputation Hollywood men have for dating women sometimes decades younger than them.

Grant is known for intertwining her work with the written word through various media including painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and photography, according to her website.
Reeves, outside his acting career, has penned two volumes of poetry illustrated by Grant – the first – Ode To Happiness, released in 2011, and the second, Shadows, in 2016.
Photos from their publicity tours for both books see them looking at ease in each other's company.
Clearly big fans of each other's work, in 2017, the duo co-founded X Artists' Books, an art-book publishing house that aims to produce "thoughtful, high-quality, artist-centred books that fit within and between genres."

The two also attended Art Basel together in 2016, followed by the launch of X Artists' Books in 2017, and a benefit for the MOCA in May.
In July, they held hands at the Saint Laurent men's fashion show in Malibu, and were spotted eating dinner together at a Santa Monica restaurant in October.
Despite the building speculation surrounding their rumoured romance, neither Grant nor Reeves have spoken publicly about the nature of their relationship.
But we suspect it's probably because there's nothing new about it.
