Speaking of his wife's alleged calls for a make-up, he said: "There is
no way I'm getting back with Kate. I wouldn't be putting my children through this hell if I wasn't serious."
Andre's insistance that their relationship is over comes after wife Jordan reportedly opened up her heart to British tabloid the
News of the World
.
Speaking to the newspaper the up-front star reportedly admitted that she'd made "
biggest mistake of my life
" in driving a wedge between her and Andre and wanted to reconcile.
"
I'll take Pete back tomorrow. I'll drop the divorce if he gives me another chance
," she pleaded.
Speaking after a flurry of tabloid coverage detailing the grimy details of their
relationship breakdown
, the glamour girl added: "If I only I could turn back the clock. I've made the biggest mistake of my life and it's all my own fault.
"If I'd known I was driving Pete away so badly I would have pulled myself back. I don't want a divorce, I just want us back as a family again."
According to the
Sunday Mirror,
Jordan also sent Andre a text message pleading with him to "save our marriage", saying she wanted him back, shortly after she met with a divorce lawyer to formalise the split.
But Andre reportedly fired back with a rebuttal, saying he battled to save their marriage while they were together and told her: "I wish you had heard my pleas when we were married."
A snitch close to Andre said: "Despite what she was saying about wanting him back, Pete has drawn a line under the marriage. The wounds are all just too raw.
"He said, 'I will always love her. She's the mother of my children. She won't find another man who will love her like I do. But it just couldn't go on'."
As far as Andre is concerned, the relationship is over. O.V.A.H.
"There is no way I'm getting back with Kate.
"I wouldn't be putting my children through this hell if I wasn't serious.
"I want a divorce - and I want it to be as amicable as possible so we can all get on with our lives," he reportedly said.
Another snitch said: "Pete wants to get on with things for the sake of his kids and plough through with the divorce - the quicker the better. He doesn't want things to be delayed and turn nastier that they already are. He just wants resolution, again for the sake of the children.
"Pete wants joint custody - and that's all he cares about. He sees the split as permanent."
And the rift between the former couple deepened this week when a planned reunion with Jordan's disabled son
Harvey
fell through at the last minute.
Andre had been due to spend time with Harvey and his brother
Junior
, three, and 23-month-old sister
Princess Tiaamii
at a family barbeque.
Jordan's spokesperson told the
Daily Star
: "We don't know why Harvey is not there. We thought it was going to happen."
Andre, 36, is said to want joint custody of the kids and access to Harvey.
Jordan, who has enlisted the help of
Sir Paul McCartney
's former divorce lawyer
Fiona Shackleton
to represent her during the split, says that the divorce is not her idea.
She said: "I feel pushed into this. The only reason I saw lawyers is because I felt I had no other choice.
"I've had to prepare myself for what might happen and not show everyone that I am weak. But I don't want that to happen. I want us to try again.
"How did I feel in that lawyers? Awful. Distraught.
"I wish people could see the mess I'm in all the time. I'm devastated and nobody believes me."
Meanwhile, Jordan is set to appear on the
Jonathan Ross
show in the UK this week. She will speak publicly for the first time about her love split, according to programme makers.
