Patrick Dempsey wants to renew his wedding vows.
The 50-year-old actor split from his wife Jillian last January, but they recently called off their divorce and he reportedly now wants to prove his commitment to the make-up artist.
However, Jillian - who has daughter Tallulah, 12, and seven-year-old twin sons, Sullivan and Darby, with the Grey's Anatomy star - wants to take things slowly, and has also urged Patrick to curb his motorsports hobby.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "It's incredibly exciting for all their friends and family, but Jillian wouldn't never have accepted unless he agreed to slow down on his motorsports racing.
"It was devastating when they split and he's still not out of the woods yet.
