Around 100,000 people are expected at Western Springs Lakeside Park in Auckland today for the annual Pasifika festival.
The event celebrating Pacific sights, sounds and traditions has been spread over two days this year to accommodate ever-growing crowds.
Organiser Stan Wolfgramm said more cultures have been added to the mix
in recent years.
The newest group performing are Hawaiian Hula girls.
Entry is free and things kick off at 10.00am.
