Paris Hilton left shocked after neighbours' robbed at gunpoint

Paris Hilton has been left shocked after four of her neighbours were robbed at gunpoint on Thursday night.

The 34-year-old socialite took to Twitter to reveal the terrifying news, writing: "Last night 4 of our neighbors houses got robbed at gunpoint. Thank God my boyfriend has such an amazing security team at his house (sic)."

While Paris did not specify where she was, she is believed to be spending most of the summer with her boyfriend, 39-year-old Thomas Gross, at his home in Ibiza.

Paris is DJing at the nightclub Amnesia every Saturday until September 12.

Paris and Thomas, a self-made tycoon with an estimated fortune of $200 million, have reportedly been dating since May and she repeatedly refers to him as her "soulmate" on Instagram.

A source previously said: "They met at the Cannes Film Festival in May and have been dating ever since. They are having a lot of fun getting to know each other.

"She is thrilled she has found a real man who is such a gentleman. Paris loves the way he treats her and they are having a good time."

Paris - who split from model River Viiperi last summer after two years of dating - recently admitted that she desperately wants to start a family.

She said: "I feel like I've pretty much done everything I've wanted to do. I've done music, designing, TV, everything. The one thing I didn't get involved in until a couple of years ago is real estate, and now I'm following in my family's footsteps, opening my own properties - I love that. But next is (definitely) having a family."
