UK pop sensation Paloma Faith is coming to New Zealand, having just been announced as the support act for Sam Smith.
Smith returns to New Zealand this November with his Thrill of it All world tour and has already had to add an extra show to accommodate the demand fortickets.
Now, adding to that hype, Smith has announced he'll be joined by Faith, following her latest album, The Architect.
On it, she combines the political with the personal, tackling issues such as Brexit, Syria and Trump, as well as spreading messages of hope, love and kindness.
The album also features many of Faith's famous friends, including Sia, John Legend, Rag 'n' Bone Man and, surprisingly, actor Samuel L. Jackson.
Paloma Faith is a Brit Award winner, a regular on the touring circuit and is one of only two British women in a decade - alongside Adele - to have her last three albums go double platinum.
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker says she is "delighted" to be supporting Smith.
"He's an artist whose success I admire profoundly," she says. "I think we will be a great match. [I'm] really looking forward to meeting his vibrant and loyal fans."
She will join Sam Smith for two shows at Auckland's Spark Arena this November 2 and 3. See ticketmaster for tickets and details.
