KEY POINTS:
Otara can lay claim to the country's hottest Pacific music talent, as two of its resident music acts lead the running for this weekend's Pacific Music Awards, with three nominations each.
Reggae act Three Houses Down is up for Best Pacific Group, Pacific Song and Pacific Album, while rap duo Cydel is nominated for Best Pacific Artist, song and album.
Both groups will perform at the awards, alongside Nesian Mystik, at Manukau's TelstraClear Events Centre on Saturday night.
In addition to the categories below, a People's Choice Award will also be presented on the night, as voted by the public.
Entering its fourth year, the event is open to the public, with tickets available from Ticketmaster.
