Game of Thrones director David Nutter has been grilled by US President Barack Obama over the shock death of Jon Snow.
Fans of the hit HBO fantasy/drama were left reeling after Snow, played by Kit Harington, was stabbed to death in the last installment of Season 5.
Nutter directed thekey episode and has now revealed he was subsequently interrogated by Game of Thrones fan Obama.
"Three weeks ago, I was the in the company of the President of the United States. He turned to me, put his hand on my shoulder, and said, 'You didn't kill Jon Snow did you?"' Nutter has told Entertainment Weekly.

"I said, 'Jon Snow is deader than dead.' I thought I was going to be sent to Guantanamo or something, but fortunately I'm here - but he's dead," he said of his meeting with Obama.
The news comes amid a slew of rumours suggesting Snow is set to be resurrected in Season 6 after Harington was recently photographed arriving in Belfast, Northern Ireland where a big portion of the show is filmed.
