The British actress who plays Princess Margaret in the hit TV series The Crown has revealed sex scenes were cut from the show because they were "too titillating".
Vanessa Kirby, 29, plays the Queen's sister in the show and has given a detailed insight into life in front of thecamera.
She revealed two scenes that contained explicit content were deleted and did not make it on the show and said: "No one wants to see royal boob."
The actress, from Wimbledon, southwest London, was appearing as the first guest on a new podcast by journalist Dolly Alderton, called Love Stories.
She was asked how she feels about sex scenes and she said a number of raunchy scenes were toned down, reports the Evening Standard.
Speaking on the podcast, Kirby said: "It just became clear that to titillate was not the aim. With Margaret, I was like, 'no one wants to see royal boob, not really'."
She added that the particular scene did not make it on to the show and was scrapped along with one that showed sex with "lots of different positions".
The show has a number of raunchy scenes but it has now been revealed that others were cut from certain episodes.
Kirby also revealed that some erotic scenes featuring the Queen, played by Claire Foy and Prince Philip (Matt Smith) were supposed to be more explicit.
Margaret was also seen dancing in just her bra in her bedroom, locked in a tryst with a man, straddling him on a chair, and posing for a naked photo shoot.
