Nicki Minaj sparks fresh engagement rumours

Rapper Nicki Minaj has once again hinted she's engaged by flaunting a giant "flawless" diamond ring on Instagram.

The 33-year-old star began dating fellow musician Meek Mill at the beginning of 2015 and the couple often flaunt their romance on social media. In April Minaj set tongues wagging by seemingly confirming she had accepted a proposal from Meek when she posted a cryptic Twitter message consisting of a diamond ring emoji followed by a yellow heart and a diamond, though Mill put the reports to bed.

Now she's sent the rumour mill into overdrive once more, but it seems this time the engagement could be real. Taking to her Instagram account, Minaj shared a photo of her hand resting with a gigantic diamond ring on her wedding finger.

"Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love u @meekmill ~ RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzzz (sic)" she captioned the shot, complete with shocked face emojis.

She posted another shot from further back, also giving fans a good look at her hot pink nails. "This stone is flawless. (My voice) lol," she wrote, followed by a princess emoji, diamond rings and diamonds.

Both uploads sent fans into a frenzy and congratulations came pouring in, with one user writing "Wow congrats nicki at less (sic) he serious now time for some kids happy engagement."

However, many were quick to point out that Minaj celebrated her birthday on December 8 and suggested the bling could simply be a present.

Following the reports they were engaged in April, Mill spoke out and confirmed that he and his girlfriend weren't planning to walk down the aisle. It seems their busy schedules were what was holding them back.

"(Our relationship) is definitely real, but it ain't really time to get married yet," he told The Fader in May (15). "We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."
