Niniwa Roberts' penalty-corner skills have helped to win her a place in the New Zealand women's hockey side for next month's four-test series against the visiting Indian side.
The 24-year-old Wellingtonian is the only newcomer in Jan Borren's team. Olympians Mandy Smith and Anna Lawrence are back as expected after missing the tests against South Korea in March.
The squad is: Helen Clarke, Sandy Bennett, Meredith Orr, Leisen Jobe, Lawrence, Smith, Jaimee Provan (Auckland), Anne-Marie Irving, Michelle Turner, Penny Munns (Canterbury), Paula Enoka, Lizzie Igasan (North Harbour), Rachel Sutherland, Caryn Paewai, Suzie Pearce, Roberts (Wellington).
