Bindi Irwin has confirmed she is expecting a "beautiful daughter" with her husband Chandler Powell.
The 22-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post, revealing that her unborn baby was now the same size as one of her friends at Australia Zoo.
Posing alongside Powell and an ultrasound of theirbaby Irwin wrote: "Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can't wait for her arrival next year."
The announcement was met with an outpouring of support from people congratulating the couple.
"I can't wait to meet my niece!" Irwin's younger brother Robert commented, and Powell also wrote: "I love you and our daughter more than anything."
Plenty of commenters were soon suggesting a name that would pay tribute to Irwin's father Steve Irwin, who tragically died in 2006 in a stingray attack.
"A girl named Stevie, perhaps?" one person wrote, and another commented: "Name her Stevie!"
Irwin and Powell announced the pregnancy on Instagram last month in a post showing off their bub's future khaki Australia Zoo uniform.
"Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," Bindi wrote, explaining that she "couldn't wait to share the news" despite being only in her first trimester at the time.

"It's an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you," Irwin said.
Irwin and Powell wed in a surprise ceremony in March after bringing forward their original wedding date because of coronavirus restrictions.
The couple opted to have a small ceremony at Australia Zoo with no guests. Robert walked his sister down the aisle and the couple lit a candle in memory of Steve.
"Today we celebrated life and revelled in every beautiful moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens," Bindi wrote on Instagram.

"Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad's memory.
"We shared tears and smiles and love. Thankfully, since we all live at Australia Zoo as a family, we could be there for each other. To everyone reading this – stay safe, social distance and remember LOVE WINS!"
