Make sure your smoke alarms have fresh batteries because the twisted fire starters and punk instigators of The Prodigy are on their way to New Zealand.
The groundbreaking electronic trio, who blend snarling dance beats with aggressive punk 'tude, will light up Auckland's Trusts Arena Tuesday, February 5, next year.
The group enjoyed massive success in the mid 90s with their album The Fat of the Land, which was a number 1 hit here and spawned the chart topping singles Smack My B***h Up, Breathe and, of course, Firestarter, their anthem for a jilted generation.
They are touring in support of their new album, No Tourists, which is out next Friday. If the record's first single, the brutally hard-hitting Need Some1, is anything to go by the show should be an absolute stormer.
"We are looking forward to bringing No Tourists live to New Zealand in 2019," Liam Howlett said in a statement. "Once again, time to bring the ruckus!"
Supporting The Prodigy will be Australian DJ Enschway.
Tickets for the show go onsale next Thursday through Ticketek.
