Former S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole is selling off memorabilia from when the group went platinum in New Zealand in an attempt to cash in on their former success.

The singer received a framed presentation platinum sales award from New Zealand for sales of Bring It All Back and S Club.

It's now been listed on eBay for NZ $370, where Cattermole's also specifically mentioned and photographed the Grey Lynn framing company which framed it, to sweeten the deal.

Cattermole is also selling his BRIT Award on the site, which he won for Best Newcomer back in 2002 with the rest of the pop group.

It was listed on January 5 for NZ $1200 and at time of writing, it's clocked up some 30 bids with the current price at $4400.

Cattermole's sale attempt comes after fellow 90s pop star Abz Love from the boy band 5ive sold his BRIT Award in 2015, fetching a cool $1.8 million in just 24 hours.

S Club 7 were a massive success in the late 90s-early 2000s after releasing a series of top ten singles, including Bring It All Back, Reach and Never Had A Dream Come True.

The band disbanded in 2003, and in recent months, Cattermole has been embroiled in drama with former lover and bandmate Hannah Spearritt, saying her bid for fame ruined their relationship.

Meanwhile, former members, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett and Bradley McIntosh have re-grouped as SC3.
